Two people were hospitalized after a crash involving a MidAmerican bucket truck and three other vehicles on Illinois Route 84 near Lock Road in Fulton. According to the Whiteside County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred around 6:15 a.m. Monday when the northbound Freightliner utility truck allegedly crossed the center line and collided with a southbound Kia sedan and Buick crossover. The impact caused the Kia’s engine to dislodge, which was then struck by a fourth vehicle, a Dodge crossover. The Kia driver was airlifted with non-life-threatening injuries, and the Buick driver was also hospitalized. The Dodge driver was uninjured.
