According to reports, the crash occurred just after 1:00 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 395 and Bear Valley Road. Authorities say a white Nissan sedan became lodged underneath a flatbed semi-truck operated by Equizabal Trucking. Firefighters had to extricate the sedan’s driver from the severely damaged vehicle before transporting them to St. Mary’s Medical Center with critical injuries.
