On Tuesday morning around 11:30 a.m., a serious crash involving two commercial trucks took place at the intersection of Tyburn Road and New Ford Mill Road in Falls Township. According to police, a 53-year-old Philadelphia man was driving a truck tractor eastbound on Tyburn Road and attempting to go straight through the intersection. At the same time, a 25-year-old man from Zion Grove, Pennsylvania, was driving an unladen tractor-trailer westbound on Tyburn Road and reportedly turning left onto New Ford Mill Road. The two vehicles collided during this maneuver. One driver was found semi-conscious and transported to the hospital, and both vehicles were disabled. The collision also caused a diesel fuel spill.
