A Lyft driver and their passenger were killed Wednesday morning when a Trinity Railway Express train collided with their SUV at a railroad crossing near Market Center Boulevard and Harry Hines Boulevard in Dallas. The crash occurred around 9:25 a.m. and resulted in the train striking the driver’s side of the SUV, pushing it nearly 150 yards down the tracks. The collision left the vehicle heavily damaged. Authorities have not yet determined the cause of the crash, and DART Police say the investigation remains ongoing.
