As it entered the intersection, it was reportedly struck on the right side by a southbound 18-wheeler. The collision caused both vehicles to leave the roadway, with the semi continuing into a former auto shop property and damaging several parked vehicles and part of the building. The three youth occupants of the passenger vehicle were critically injured and transported to Reading Hospital.
