Wise County, TX — September 11, 2023, Yang Du and a truck driver were injured in a truck accident around 8:55 a.m. on F.M. 51 in Wise County.

Investigators report Mr. Du’s Volvo XC60 was heading northwest on F.M. 455 and driving through the intersection with F.M. 51 when it collided with a northeast-bound Peterbilt semi-truck. The nose of the semi-truck reportedly struck the driver’s side of the Volvo.

Both drivers reportedly sustained serious injuries in the collision.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
