Traverse County, MN — July 25, 2024, Wyatt Tritz was killed while Autumn Tritz, an infant, and one other person were injured in a truck accident at about 10:45 a.m. on U.S. 75.
According to authorities, 29-year-old Wyatt Tritz, 22-year-old Autumn Tritz, and an infant were traveling in a southbound Ford Escape on U.S. Highway 75 in the vicinity of the 530th Street intersection when the accident took place.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between the Escape and a southbound 18-wheeler. Wyatt Tritz was reportedly killed due to the crash. Autumn Tritz and the infant who had also been in the Escape sustained reportedly serious injuries; they were taken to local medical facilities by EMS before being flown to an area facility for appropriate treatment.
