San Antonio, TX — January 12, 2024, one person was injured in a wrong-way car accident at approximately 2:30 a.m. along Interstate 10.
According to authorities, a call first came in concerning a wrong-way driver traveling south in the northbound lanes of I-10 in the vicinity of Boerne Stage Road.
Officials indicate, however, that the wrong-way vehicle continued for approximately 12 miles before colliding head-on with an oncoming vehicle in the vicinity of Vance Jackson. The occupant of the vehicle which the wrong-way car hit incurred injuries of unknown severity; they were transported to a local medical facility in order to receive treatment. There were no other injuries reported.
