Tarrant County, TX — May 3, 2024, Windell Breckenridge was injured following a motorcycle versus van accident at about 4:45 a.m. along Cromwell Marine Creek Road.
According to authorities, 20-year-old Windell Breckenridge was traveling on an eastbound Honda motorcycle along Cromwell Marine Creek Road approaching the Huffines Boulevard intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a westbound Dodge Ram Promaster on Cromwell Marine Creek Road attempted a left turn onto southbound Huffines Boulevard at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to eastbound traffic on a blinking yellow arrow. This resulted in a collision between the Promaster and the motorcycle in the intersection.
Breckenridge suffered reportedly severe injuries as a result of the wreck; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive necessary treatment.
