UPDATE (April 25, 2024): The motorcyclist who lost his life as a result of this accident has been identified as 51-year-old Willie Rosser Jr.
Dallas County, TX — April 22, 2024, a motorcyclist was killed following a hit-and-run car accident at approximately 2:30 a.m. along I.H. 20.
According to authorities, one person was traveling on a westbound motorcycle on Interstate Highway 20 in the vicinity of Cedar Ridge Drive when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the motorcycle was struck by a motor vehicle, causing the victim to be ejected from the motorcycle. After falling to the ground, the motorcyclist was reportedly hit by several other vehicles, at least one of which was an 18-wheeler. The vehicle that was involved in the initial crash allegedly fled the scene, the person(s) inside failing to stop and render aid of any kind to the victim. The motorcyclist incurred reportedly fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was declared deceased at the scene.
