Atoka County, OK — June 20, 2023, West Barris was killed in a collision with a semi-truck around 7:30 a.m. on Highway 7 in Atoka County.

According to authorities, the victim’s pickup truck was eastbound while a tractor-trailer was westbound on Highway 7 when the two vehicles collided head-on. Mr. Barris was fatally injured in the incident. No other injuries were reported.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
