Del Valle, TX — December 31, 2024, Wendi Gonzalez-Leon was killed in a car accident at about 8:20 p.m. on McAngus road near Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.
Authorities said a pedestrian was hit by a 2025 Honda Pilot that had just passed over a small hill that may have limited the driver’s vision in the 10800 block of McAngus Road. The crash occurred between State Highway 130 and F.M. 973.
The pedestrian, Wendi Suzet Gonzalez-Leon, 20, died after being airlifted to a nearby hospital, according to authorities.
The investigation is ongoing.
