Fort Worth, TX — April 11, 2023, Victoria De Jesus Gomez Lopez was injured following a semi-truck accident at 12:07 p.m. along I-30.
According to preliminary information released by authorities, the crash took place along westbound lanes of I-30 in the area of Blue Lake Drive.
Initial details indicated that 50-year-old Victoria Gomez Lopez was in a Nissan Rogue that was traveling westbound along the freeway. Police officials say there was a commercial truck approaching the Nissan from behind. It appears objects may have fallen from a vehicle, causing Gomez Lopez to hit the brakes. The truck then reportedly did not slow down in time, crashing into the back of the Nissan.
Due to the collision, Gomez Lopez had injuries believed to be incapacitating. It appears there were no other injuries resulting from the crash.
