Dallas, TX — April 30, 2023, Victor Montelongo was fatally injured due to a single-vehicle car accident at around 4:13 a.m. along U.S. Highway 175.
Preliminary information provided by authorities says that the incident happened along westbound lanes of U.S. 175 (C F Hawn) near the intersection of Bexar Street.
According to officials, 34-year-old Victor Montelongo was in a Nissan Altima that was going westbound along the freeway. While doing so, for reasons unclear, the vehicle went to the left, exited its lane onto the shoulder, then continued until it struck a guardrail. The vehicle continued traveling up the guardrail for some distance after the initial impact.
As a result of the accident, Montelong sustained injuries which proved to be fatal. There did not appear to be anyone else involved in the crash. Right now, it cannot be confirmed what caused the crash. Investigations are ongoing.
