Midland, TX — December 2, 2024, Victor Castillo was killed in a one-vehicle accident about 5:30 a.m. on State Highway 191 between Midland and Odessa.
Victor Castillo, 54, was traveling east on the south service road in a 2010 Ford F-250 pickup when the truck left the road, according to authorities.
Victor Castillo’s truck struck the guidewire separating the service road and the highway before rolling several times, authorities said. The accident occurred in the 10000 block of SH 191.
Victor Castillo, an Odessa resident, was ejected from the vehicle, according to authorities. He was pronounced dead at the scene once emergency personnel arrived.
Police have not said if they have determined why Victor Castillo’s truck veered off the road.
They are continuing their investigation of the accident.
