Queen City, TX — July 5, 2023, Vanessa Meadows and two others were injured following a commercial truck accident at 11:03 a.m. along U.S. Highway 59.
Preliminary information released by officials indicates that the crash took place in the area of U.S. Highway 59 and Hickory Street.
According to investigators, 32-year-old Vanessa Meadows, a 25-year-old man, and a 10-year-old girl were in a Chevy Tahoe that was going southbound along the highway. That vehicle apparently went across the center of the highway into northbound lanes where it collided head-on with a semi-truck.
Due to this collision, Meadows and the other two occupants in the Tahoe had reportedly incapacitating injuries. No other injuries were confirmed.
At this time, details suggest either that issues with the vehicle’s brakes or a medical incident, or both, led to the crash. These details cannot be confirmed at this time.
