Houston, TX — June 18, 2024, Valeria Martinez and one other person were injured in a car accident shortly after 6:45 p.m. along Forum West Drive.
According to authorities, 20-year-old Valeria Martinez was traveling in an eastbound Hyundai Sonata on Forum West Drive at the Forum Place Drive intersection when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for reasons yet to be confirmed, a southbound Nissan Murano occupied by a 29-year-old woman on Forum Place Drive entered the intersection at an apparently unsafe time, failing to yield the right of way to Forum West traffic. This resulted in a T-bone collision between the front-end of the Nissan and the left side of the Hyundai.
Both women involved suffered suspected severe injuries due to the wreck, but neither accepted transportation by EMS to a medical facility for treatment. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
