Minooka, IL — August 15, 2024, two people were injured following a two-truck accident at approximately 9:00 a.m. along I.H. 80.
According to authorities, the accident occurred in the eastbound lanes of Interstate Highway 80 in the vicinity of River Road.
The cause of the accident remains unknown. Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, a collision took place between two 18-wheelers, both of which were overturned as a result. Two of the people involved suffered injuries of unknown severity due to the wreck; they were taken to a local medical facility by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment.
