How Did This Accident Occur?
At first glance, it appears there are two possible causes of this crash: the Camaro turned when it was unsafe, or the semi-truck was travelling too fast. But in my experience, there are countless others. What if the truck driver was distracted at the time of the crash? Or the truck had an issue with its brakes or steering mechanism?
I’m not claiming to know what happened at this Tooele County intersection, but I have seen these scenarios figure into crashes during my 30-plus-year career. Only a thorough investigation will reveal the facts needed to figure out what happened in this instance.
