Accident Report

Clovis, NM — March 8, 2025, two people were killed and a third was injured in a truck accident at about 1:40 a.m. on 7th Street.

Authorities said an eastbound Cadillac sedan caught fire after colliding head-on with a westbound semi-truck near Grand Avenue.

The Cadillac and a front seat passenger were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, according to authorities. Another passenger was transported to a Texas hospital with unspecified injuries.

The truck driver was not injured, authorities said.

All three people in the Cadillac were students at Farwell Independent School District in Texas, school officials said.

Authorities have not released any additional information about the Curry County crash at this time.
