How Did This Accident Occur?

Police appear ready to attribute this crash to a tire blowout, but the investigation should not stop there.

Was the affected tire nearing the end of its lifespan and ready to be replaced? Or had the pickup recently been serviced?

The answer to those questions could affect who is deemed responsible for this crash, but it takes a full investigation to separate fact from guesswork or assumptions.
