Waller County, TX — June 13, 2023, two people were injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 2 p.m. on U.S. Hwy. 290 in Waller County.
Sources report a Peterbilt tractor-trailer was westbound approaching the intersection with F.M. 1736 when it allegedly rear-ended the victims’ Ford Escape. The impact purportedly caused the Ford to veer toward its driver’s side, drive over a curb, and collide with a utility pole.
The driver of the Ford Escape reportedly sustained serious injuries and the passenger of the Escape reportedly suffered minor injuries. Authorities have not released the cause of the crash at this time.
