Kilgore, TX — April 14, 2023, two people were injured in a truck accident around 1:46 p.m. on State Highway 42 in Kilgore.
Officials report a Peterbilt semi-truck was attempting a left-hand turn from Hwy. 42 onto Hwy. 31 when it collided with the victim’s northbound Dodge Charger. Reports say the driver of the Charger suffered serious injuries, the passenger in the Charger suffered minor injuries, and the truck driver was uninjured.
Police recommended charging the truck driver with failure to yield the right of way.
