Limestone County, TX — June 28, 2023, two people were injured in a collision with a semi-truck around 7:55 p.m. on Hwy. 164 in Limestone County.
According to officials, the victims were passengers in a Chevy Tahoe which was traveling northwest on F.M. 39 when it collided with a westbound Freightliner on Highway 164. The nose of the Tahoe reportedly struck the trailer and entered into a counterclockwise spin. The spin purportedly then caused the passenger side of the Tahoe to strike the driver’s side of the Freightliner.
The two victims were sitting on the passenger side of the Tahoe in the front and back seats. Officials say the front seat passenger suffered minor injuries and the back seat passenger sustained serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
