Ector County, TX — August 16, 2023, two people were injured in a commercial truck accident around 6:46 p.m. on Highway 158 in Ector County.

According to investigators, a Chevy Silverado was attempting to turn left onto Hwy. 158 when it allegedly collided with a westbound Peterbilt semi-truck.

The Silverado driver reportedly sustained serious injuries and the semi-truck driver reportedly suffered possible injuries.

Investigators have not released what factors led up to the accident.
