As crazy as the above allegations sound, we had a case with similar details—a truck driver was watching adult videos when he caused a devastating crash. Despite how obviously wrong that behavior is, it still took extensive investigations and depositions beyond what police looked into to finally get the victim’s family the resolution they deserved. As serious as these details are, I doubt this crash would be the exception.
Faribault, MN — July 12, 2023, two people were injured in a semi-truck collision on southbound Interstate 35 in Faribault, MN.
Authorities indicate that on July 12, a collision occurred when, for unknown reasons, two semi-trucks collided on Interstate 35 close to Milepost 62 in Faribault. Sources say the crash ended when one of the trucks burst into flames at the scene. One man was reportedly extricated from the vehicle.
Investigators have yet to determine the cause of the crash. Officials confirmed that both semi-truck drivers involved sustained injuries in the accident. Details of the drivers’ condition have not been released.
The investigation is ongoing.
