Memphis, TN — June 22, 2023, two children were injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer around 1:30 p.m. on Winchester Road in Memphis.
Authorities report a passenger vehicle and the FedEx semi-truck collided at the 2500 block of Winchester Road, just north of the Memphis International Airport and west of the intersection with Cargo Rd. Photos from the crash show the FedEx truck with significant damage to its front and the red passenger vehicle with extensive damage to its rear.
Both of the children were reportedly transported to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital; one child was purportedly in critical condition and the other in non-critical condition.
Investigators have not released what factors led up to this collision.
