White Bear Lake, MN — December 4, 2023, three people were injured in a truck accident at sometime in the afternoon along Buerkle Road.
According to reports, the accident took place at 1970 Buerkle Road, which is in a business center close to Interstate 694.
Allegedly, an 18-wheeler was traveling westbound on Interstate 694 and took the exit for White Bear Avenue, but, for unknown reasons, was unable to control its speed; it barreled through the grassy area between the road and the business center, stopping only after crashing into a dentist office. Three people, one of which was the occupant of the 18-wheeler, were injured as a result of the crash. They were transported to a local hospital by EMS in order to receive treatment.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were not reported on, but pictures of the scene which have been published in the news depict apparently cloudy skies with dry roads. There are not currently any additional details available pertaining to this incident.
