Lindale, TX — September 12, 2024, three people were injured following a tanker truck accident at approximately 6:30 a.m. along U.S. 69.
According to authorities, the accident took place on U.S. Highway 69 between a pickup truck and a tanker truck loaded with 8,000 gallons of fuel.
The cause of the accident remains unclear. Officials indicate that the two people who had been in the pickup truck were entrapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted by emergency personnel. Once freed from the aftermath, both people from the pickup were transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive treatment for injuries of unknown severity, as was one person from the tanker.
