Lamar County, TX — November 13, 2023, one person was injured in a truck accident just before 8:00 in the morning along Farm to Market 137.
According to reports, a 56-year-old man was traveling in a southbound 18-wheeler along Farm to Market 137 approaching the County Road 26850 intersection when the accident took place.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, the 18-wheeler veered off of the right side of the road, causing it to overturn and come to rest on the driver’s side. The 56-year-old—whose identity has not yet been made public—reportedly sustained severe injuries as a result of the accident; he was transported to a local medical facility by emergency medical services in order to receive treatment. There were no other injuries reported.
The accident is under investigation by local authorities. The weather and driving conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. Additional details are not currently available pertaining to this incident.
