Glade County, FL — January 21, 2025, two people were killed and another person was injured in a truck accident at about 1 p.m. on State Road 78.
Authorities said a sedan and a van were headed east when the sedan apparently veered into the path of an oncoming semi-truck. Their collision knocked the truck into the path of the van, which hit the side of the truck.
The sedan driver, a 35-year-old Apopka woman, and the van driver, a 61-year-old man from Knoxville, TN, died in the crash, according to authorities. The truck driver, a 45-year-old Miami man, suffered minor injuries. Their names have not been made public at this time.
Authorities have not released any additional information about the crash. The accident is still being investigated.
