Plano, TX — August 2, 2023, two people were injured following a tractor-trailer accident at around 5:30 a.m. along the Central Expressway.

According to preliminary information about the accident, it took place along the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 75 in the area of Parker Road.

Right now, the cause of the crash is still under investigation. Details suggest that a semi-tanker was going along the Central Expressway when it somehow “lost control.” This led to the truck crashing with multiple other vehicles before catching fire.

As a result of the collisions, at least two people were taken from the scene to local hospitals. Their injuries were reportedly non-life-threatening. It’s unclear which vehicles the victims were in. At this time, no further information about the crash can be confirmed pending continuing investigations.
