Falls County, TX — May 31, 2023, a driver sustained injuries as the result of a tractor-trailer accident early Wednesday along Highway 6.
Investigators reported that the incident happened at approximately 9:30 a.m. along the southbound lanes of Highway 6.
According to officials, a tractor-trailer was going along the highway behind a pickup that was hauling a trailer of its own. Near the F.M. 223 intersection, it appears that tractor-trailer somehow crashed into the pickup’s trailer. This caused the tractor-trailer to lose control and overturn.
The driver of the tractor-trailer apparently went into a hospital with injuries described as serious. Reports did not identify the driver. There were no other injuries confirmed. Currently, additional details regarding factors leading up to the crash are still under investigation.
