Cheektowaga, NY — August 7, 2023, three people were injured following a tractor-trailer accident early Monday along Genesee Street.
Authorities said that the incident happened hours before 10:30 a.m., when lanes of Genesee near Transit Road and Airborne Parkway reopened.
Details at this time say that a car was going westbound along Genesee Street at the time. At an apartment complex, the vehicle reportedly attempted to make a left turn, during which it was hit by a semi-truck that was going eastbound.
As a result of the collision, three people sustained injuries. One of the victims, a child, reportedly had minor injuries. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed.
