Dumas, TX — February 9, 2026, Tone Taupule was injured in a single-car accident at about 4:50 p.m. on North Dumas Avenue/U.S. Highway 287.
A preliminary accident report indicates that a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro was heading south toward South 6th Street when it left the road and overturned.
Driver Tone Taupule, 41, was seriously injured in the crash, according to the report. He was wearing a seatbelt.
