People tend to see a single-vehicle wreck, though, and assume the cause must have been simple. There are common factors to consider, of course, but it can cause problems when authorities are too narrow in their investigations. For example, what if mechanical issues led to the crash? A tire blowout? A medical condition? Road hazards? Some other reckless driver who fled the scene? Things aren’t always so straight-forward. So, if authorities feel a crash is a low priority, they may not be thorough enough to ensure they’re getting all the facts. Were authorities more thorough here, or are there still stones left unturned?
