Harris County, TX — June 4, 2023, Tina Roberts and another person were injured after an alleged intoxicated driving accident at 1:40 a.m. along Mason Road.
Authorities said that they were called out to the area of Mason Road and Morton Chase Lane. It appears from initial statements that 48-year-old Tina Roberts was in a Ford Escape that was going northbound along Mason Road. Police say that a westbound Chevy Malibu disregarded a stop sign, resulting in a collision with Roberts’s vehicle.
Due to the crash, both Roberts and the other driver reportedly had non-incapacitating injuries. Authorities say the Chevy driver left the scene but was arrested. That driver was allegedly intoxicated at the time of the crash, and Harris County officials released a charging document for Failure to Stop and Render Aid. No further information can be confirmed at this time.
