St. Louis, MO — June 3, 2023, Thomas Brennecke was killed and Brandon Pritchett was injured after a truck accident at 5:00 p.m. along I-44,
Preliminary information about the fatal wreck indicates that it took place near the intersection of I-44 and South Lindbergh Boulevard.
According to officials, 31-year-old Thomas Brennecke and 30-year-old Brandon Pritchett were in a Ford sedan that was going along the interstate. It appears that car crashed into a Ford F-550 truck which police say was abandoned and partially blocking a lane of travel.
Due to the collision, Brennecke sustained fatal injuries. Pritchett sustained injuries which were described as serious.. Police have not confirmed all of the factors surrounding the crash, including why the truck was in the roadway. Investigations are ongoing.
