Smith County, TX — September 5, 2023, Therese Annette Pace was killed, and another was injured in a truck accident around 10 a.m. on Loop 49 in Smith County.

According to officials, a semi-truck and Ms. Pace’s passenger vehicle collided on Toll 49 (a.k.a. Loop 49) near the intersection with Highway 31.

Therese Annette Pace was fatally injured, while the truck driver was reportedly taken to a hospital with injuries.

Authorities have not released any other details at this time.
