King County, TX — July 5, 2022, a teenage worked sustained fatal injuries due to an accident on a job site at around 10:40 a.m. outside of Guthrie.
Current information says that the incident involved Sheppard Farm and Ranch Services. OSHA listed the longitude and latitude of the location of the incident, which they listed as 33.61427 N, 100.24535 W. Google Maps appears to show this as an area east of Guthrie in rural King County off the northeast corner of the U.S. 84 and Highway 114 interchange.
Details about the accident right now say that a 15-year-old employee was near a compact tract loader that was equipped with a hammer post driver. For reasons unclear, the compact tract loader somehow fell on him. This resulted in fatal injuries. OSHA reports listed five alleged violations. Details about the results of those allegations is unclear at this time.
