Hopefully authorities are going to take additional steps to share information surrounding this crash. One of the best tools available to authorities after a hit and run is the general public. Someone is often able to connect the dots and come forward with new information so there can be appropriate consequences. Once that happens, investigators can find out why that person left the scene and whether or not there is further action that needs to be taken.
