Bexar County, TX — June 16, 2025, a teenager was injured as the result of a construction accident at around 10:00 a.m. along Salmon Spring.
According to initial details about the accident, it happened west of San Antonio in a subdivision southwest of Texas Research Parkway and Potranco Road.
Investigators released few details. It appears there was construction happening when a tractor somehow made contact with an 18-year-old. Due to this, authorities say the teenager suffered a serious leg injury. No other injuries were reported.
At this time, it’s not clear if the victim was working at the time. Investigations are ongoing.

As investigations continue, the difference between a work accident and a non-work accident are quite stark. Texas happens to have the most challenging work accident laws in the whole country. Despite what people may think, there isn’t always an automatic path for getting people benefits following a work accident. This is why it’s important steps are taken early to get clear details surrounding a crash. Knowing what happened is one thing, but knowing what comes next for those involved is also crucial.
