UPDATE (April 14, 2023): Recent reports identified the victims killed in the crash as 21-year-old Tanner Russell and 18-year-old Eduardo Medina. While the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, current details suggest police are looking into speeding as a possible factor. Hopefully their investigations are broad enough that they don’t miss any other possibilities, especially unusual possible factors that can easily slip through the cracks. One way or the other, the victims’ loved ones deserve some answers.

Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman

This appears to be an intersection with a traffic signal, so unless the vehicles were going in the same direction, it’s possible this all relates to one of the drivers failing to yield. Does the nearby gas station or another business in the area have a camera authorities are looking into? Cameras are everywhere these days, so it’s very possible that a search of the immediate area could show clear evidence to help get the victims’ loved ones the answers they need.
