Bastrop County, TX — October 28, 2024, Susana Santillan was injured following a car accident that occurred at around 9:53 P.M. on FM 535.
An investigation is underway into a car accident that left one person injured during the evening hours of October 28th. According to official reports, Susana Santillan was travelling as a passenger in a Ford Mustang on FM 535 in the eastbound lanes near Oak River Drive, when a separate vehicle going the opposite direction struck a deer. The impact caused the dear to become airborne and collide with the Mustang.
As a result of the impact, both vehicles sustained significant damage. When first responders arrived on the scene, they found that Santillan had sustained serious injuries and transported her to the hospital. At this time there has been no further information released about the accident, including the status of Santillan’s injuries.
