Stearns County, MN — November 29, 2023, Susan Lemke was killed in a car vs pickup truck accident at about 9:45 along County Road 9.
According to reports, Susan Lemke was traveling in a northeast bound passenger vehicle along C.R. 9 in the vicinity of C.R. 156 when the incident occurred.
For unknown reasons, her vehicle was unable to safely negotiate a curve in the road, resulting in a head-on collision with a Ford work vehicle. Lemke was reportedly trapped in the wreckage and had to be extracted upon arrival of emergency workers. However, despite attempts to save her life, she succumbed to her injuries, having been declared deceased at the scene of the accident.
