Commentary by Attorney Michael Grossman
Are there any locals who can help shed light on some of the details surrounding this crash? I’m not familiar with the streetcar system in Milwaukee, and I wonder how things work in terms of yielding to the car. It’s on tracks, so it’s not like the path of the vehicle is unpredictable. But are signals set up to always allow the car through? Do vehicles have to wait for the cars to cross? Or, do they have to follow signals just like a bus would? That could help shed light on how this could have been avoided.
