Rockwall, TX — November 18, 2023, Steven Scott Moran was injured in a car accident just after 1:30 in the afternoon along Interstate Highway 30.
According to reports, 49-year-old Steven Scott Morgan was traveling in an eastbound Nissan Pathfinder in the right-hand lane of I.H. 30 approaching the Goliad Street intersection when the accident took place.
For reasons yet to be confirmed, the Nissan rear-ended a Ford van, causing the Ford to veer left, cross the center eastbound lane, and collide with a Chevy Silverado which had been traveling in the left-most eastbound lane of the highway. The initial collision caused the Nissan to overturn and go into a roll, finally coming to rest on its roof. Morgan reportedly incurred severe injuries as a result of the crash and was transported to a local hospital for immediate treatment. There were no other reported injuries.
The cause of the accident is under active investigation by local authorities. The weather and road conditions in the area at the time were reportedly clear and dry. Additional details—including the identities of those unnamed—are currently unavailable.
