Victoria County, TX — July 30, 2024, Stephen and Beverly Colosky were injured and one person was killed in a car accident at about 2:00 p.m. on Zac Lentz Pkwy.
According to authorities, a 41-year-old man was traveling in a northbound Ford F-150 pickup truck on SE Zac Lentz Parkway in the vicinity north of Lone Tree Road when the accident took place.
Officials indicate that, for as yet unknown reasons, the pickup truck failed to safely maintain its lane of travel. It reportedly veered left of center, entering the southbound lane of travel where it was involved in a minor collision with a southbound Ford F-250 pickup. The F-150 continued northward in the southbound lane, leading to a head-on collision with a southbound Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck occupied by Stephen and Beverly Colosky—ages 55 and 56, respectively.
Both Stephen and Beverly Colosky suffered reportedly serious injuries as a result of the wreck. They were each transported to local medical facilities by EMS in order to receive necessary treatment. The injuries incurred by the man in the F-150, however, were ultimately fatal. No other injuries have been reported. Additional details pertaining to this incident are not available at this point in time. The investigation is currently ongoing.
