Authorities report Stephanie Newcomb’s Volkswagon Atlas was northbound on F.M. 2590 when a Chevy Silverado, westbound on Southridge Dr., allegedly ran a stop sign and pulled out in front of Stephanie Newcomb’s Volkswagon.

Stephanie Newcomb purportedly suffered serious injuries and was transported for medical attention. No other injuries were reported.

The speed limit for F.M. 2590 is 55 mph and the weather was reportedly clear.
