Mitchell County, TX — June 23, 2023, Stacy Lynn Hudson and three others were injured due to a commercial truck accident at 7:04 p.m. along I-20.
Details given by authorities indicate that the crash took place in the area of Interstate 20 westbound mile marker 224.
According to current information, 50-year-old Stacy Lynn Hudson was in a Lincoln Navigator traveling on westbound I-20. Conditions at the time were said to be stormy with limited visibility. The Lincoln was apparently stopped behind other vehicles due to these conditions when a tractor-trailer reportedly failed to control speed and hit the Lincoln and several of the other surrounding vehicles.
As a result of the collision, Hudson and a 15-year-old in the Lincoln had incapacitating injuries. One other person in the Lincoln and a driver of one of the other vehicles possibly had injuries, as well. Right now, no further information about the crash can be confirmed without further investigations.
